Question's about LOST Series.....PLZ HELP?

Im so lost i watched all 120 episodes and im confused what happened when the Nuclear bomb blew up....their were two stories were they actually went back.. and where they didnt go back and nothing happened... So were they all dead since the beggining or what?... oh and why werent Ana lucia and Mr eko their?...PLZ HELP IM SO CONFUSED
